We focus on sourcing commercially-minded HR professionals of all disciplines, and search for candidates with the appetite to position HR as a truly valued, strategic function. Historically HR professionals have seldom been promoted to the boards of many organisations. Futureboard HR believes that this needs to change, and we drive this agenda by sourcing talent that can make a demonstrable, measurable difference in their new roles. We don’t just look for traditional HR skills: candidates who can demonstrate a wider skillset or knowledge base can be at a real advantage, such as those with experience in digital media, internal communications, management consultancy, organisational change and employee engagement.

We have always recruited internationally, but have a particular focus on the UK and North American markets, sourcing candidates from both active and passive networks. Futureboard HR continually invests in both these networks by engaging with individuals via online communities but also by meeting high-calibre individuals on a 1:1 basis to discuss their careers and aspirations. We believe that senior professionals prefer personal conversations and consider individual contact our priority. We are opening our first international office in New York in August 2015.
